When the clouds roll in and the rain begins to fall I long to capture the photos I dream about in my mind.  I may be driving along when I notice the sky is a brilliant blue and covered with clouds.  Nature becomes a light filter, and it can give you amazing colors.  Everything pops and everything glistens.

In the first half of October when the leaves are in a magical array of colors, I long to have an instant model.  The yellows, reds, and rainy overcast days are like a canvas.  Add to that, the puddles of water which reflect images and the sparkles of light that are daring someone to splash in them.  The drama of inclement weather can be just as beautiful as a golden hour.

If I had my Emily, what adventures we could have had.
